After an aggressive bidding war, Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon’s upcoming drama series has found a home at Apple’s Apple Video.
The currently untitled Aniston-Witherspoon drama received a straight-to-series, two-season order with ten episodes per season, and we’re Madeline Martha Mackenzie-level excited.
The dynamic duo—who haven’t acted together since Witherspoon’s cameo on Friends—will star, executive produce and share ownership of the show with former HBO head of drama Michael Ellenberg.
Aniston and Witherspoon’s series will offer an inside look at the lives of morning talk show hosts and the drama and challenges they face. Jay Carson (House of Cards) is penning the pilot and will serve as the series showrunner.
Now we wait for what will surely be TV magic...
