Throw your winter parka into the closet and grab a spoon, because we have exciting news for you.
Just in time for spring, you can now buy pints of frosé-flavored sorbet (!), thanks to artisanal ice-cream company Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams. The Columbus, Ohio, company just introduced the flavor, inspired by our favorite warm-weather drink, as part of its new spring collection.
The sorbet starts with a dry Sonoma Valley rosé, but you’ll also taste notes of pear, strawberry, watermelon and lemon. Bonus: It’s dairy- and gluten-free. (It’s also delicious. We have tasted it and can confirm.)
As for eating, Jeni suggests whipping up a sorbet float with sparkling wine and a shot of tequila...or more rosé. (You can never have too much of a good thing.) If you’re lucky enough to live near a Jeni’s scoop shop, you can try the frosé sorbet in person. If not, just order a pint (or four) online.
