Emma Stone Is Totally Transformed in New ‘Cruella’ Trailer (& This Movie Looks *So* Good)

Cruella de Vil is ready for her close-up.

Actress Emma Stone made her debut as one of Disney's most iconic villains in the new trailer for Cruella, and we're already getting major punk-rock vibes. In the 90-second teaser, we get a glimpse of Cruella's darkest adventures as she proudly proclaims, "I am woman. Hear me roar." And not surprisingly, there's no shortage of glamorous outfits.

Set in 1970s London (during the punk rock revolution), the film focuses on Cruella's younger days as an ambitious fashion designer who's obsessed with dogs' furs.

The official synopsis reads, "She befriends a pair of young thieves who appreciate her appetite for mischief, and together they are able to build a life for themselves on the London streets. One day, Estella’s flair for fashion catches the eye of the Baroness von Hellman, a fashion legend who is devastatingly chic and terrifyingly haute...But their relationship sets in motion a course of events and revelations that will cause Estella to embrace her wicked side and become the raucous, fashionable and revenge-bent Cruella."

In addition to the new trailer, Disney also unveiled a stunning new poster, which features a close-up of Stone as the fashionable character.

If you take a close look at the "A" in her name, you might recognize it as the anarchy symbol, which hints at the punk rock scene and her character's rebellious nature.

In addition to Stone, the film stars Emma Thompson, Joel Fry, Paul Walter Hauser, Emily Beecham and Mark Strong. Cruella was also directed by Craig Gillespie and produced by Kristin Burr, Andrew and Gunn Marc Platt.

Fans can expect to see all of Cruella's adventures on May 28.
