The Killing Eve season two premiere is just days away (Sunday, April 7!), and stars Sandra Oh (Eve) and Jodi Comer (Villanelle) are dressed and ready to go.
The co-stars hit the premiere red carpet at the Arclight Hollywood last night and totally channeled their characters. To celebrate the new season, Oh, the hero, dressed in all white, while Comer, the villain, dressed in black. The catch? Both were equally chic.
Oh donned a white Giorgio Armani single-button pantsuit with oversize trousers à la Queen Maxima of the Netherlands and a soft peplum waist blazer with a silk lapel. The 47-year-old Golden Globe winner upped the sex appeal by going sans shirt and letting the suit’s plunging neckline speak for itself. She paired the ensemble with Tamara Mellon “Frontline” nude sandals ($395), a Jimmy Choo clutch, an Eriness diamond staple signet ring, a sleek low ponytail and simple winged eyeliner.
Comer went the opposite route and wore a Victoria Beckham little black dress with a low V back and a sequined bralette feature. It’s stunning, simple, from the autumn/winter 2019 collection and totally unlike anything Villanelle would wear. She completed the look with black pointed-toe silk Jimmy Choo heels with a delicate embellished ankle strap and crescent-shaped Andrea Fohrman turquoise “Astrid” earrings.
Their outfits were an apt embodiment of the yin and yang dynamic between their characters on the acclaimed BBC America series. Eve is an undercover MI6 agent laser-focused on catching a killer, while Villanelle is, well, the killer. Despite their easily apparent differences, the women share a strange fascination with one another that we can’t wait to see come to a head when season two of Killing Eve premieres this Sunday at 8/7 central on BBC America and AMC.
