TV fans have been having a ball, with the plentiful good news about all the shows that have been renewed. Five Star Weekend got the green light soon after it premiered over the summer; Sterling Point, Furious, The Gentlemen and others followed suit. Now, I'm the bearer of more fun updates with five fan-favorite shows returning to the small screen.

1. The Hunting Wives

The popular Netflix drama received an 81 percent Tomatometer rating in its first season, and follows Northerner Sophie as she relocates to East Texas with her husband after being the perpetrator of a fatal car accident in Boston. Once settled in the town of Maple Brook, Sophie is quickly pulled into the orbit of Margo, a socialite and the wife of an oil tycoon—who also happens to be Sophie's husband's boss. Soon, Sophie finds herself entangled in a web of secrets and lies tied to Margo's past life, all of which unravel when a girl is found dead in the woods where Margo's friends like to gather.

Season two is slated for release on November 26 with eight episodes, and yesterday Netflix announced that the show had also been renewed for season three, with an expected premiere in late 2027 or early 2028.

2. Imperfect Women

The Apple TV+ psychological thriller stars Kerry Washington, Elisabeth Moss and Kate Mara as three friends, Eleanor, Mary and Nancy. The former two are grieving the death (and murder) of the latter. Throughout the police investigation, Eleanor and Mary must contend with the tangle of secrets the truth unravels.

The series was renewed for season two in the first week of October, with Washington returning in her role. Moss will not reprise hers, but stays on as an executive producer through her company, Love & Squalor Pictures.

“We were thrilled to see how deeply these women and their stories resonated with audiences around the world, and I’m so excited to step back into Eleanor’s shoes,” Washington said in a statement published by The Hollywood Reporter. “She’s intelligent and strong, but she also finds herself navigating complicated and sometimes messy situations. We at Simpson Street along with our incredible partners at Apple and Love & Squalor Pictures can’t wait to explore a fresh chapter for her and share where this story takes us next.”

3. Neagley

Neagley is the spinoff of Reacher, which itself currently has four seasons on Amazon Prime. The first season premiered in mid-September, following Frances Neagley, former military protégé of Jack Reacher, who, after learning that a old friend has been killed in an "accident," puts her newly acquired skills to work. The investigation takes her to a cult commune operating as a front for a black market operated by a powerful pharmaceuticals executive. According to Variety, Neagley garnered 40 million views in the first 13 days on the platform, and Amazon reported that it is currently the fourth most-viewed original series debut in Prime's history. It was renewed for its second season shortly after its premiere.

4. Anna Pigeon

USA Network has renewed Anna Pigeon, based on author Nevada Barr's novels of the same name, for season two. Tracy Spiridakos stars as Anna Pigeon, a National Parks Service ranger who is running away from a haunting loss while solving crimes in the parks system. It is one of two hit series currently on the network, with the other being The Rainmaker, and is its highest-rated original scripted series in eight years.

5. Big Brother

The long-running reality show hosted by Julie Chen Moonves will return for its 29th and 30th season, with two new groups competing for the $750,000 cash prize. The highly popular show has been streamed for a total of 14.8 billion minutes, with Deadline reporting that the show experienced an 8 percent growth compared to the previous summer. It's the recipient of two Guinness World Records: Most Episodes of a Primetime TV Series and Most Episodes of a Competitive Reality TV Series, in addition to having the distinction of being the first primetime series to reach 1,000 original episodes.
