Royal News Roundup: Queen Elizabeth’s New Grandchild, Prince Harry’s Tech Job & an International Tour

Here, all the royal news you need to know for the week of March 25, 2021.

  • Last week, Prince Harry penned a forward for Hospital by the Hill, an upcoming children's book that tells the story of a child dealing with the loss of their mother, a frontline worker. In the forward, Harry offers an affecting look into the loss of his own mother, Princess Diana, who died when he was only 12 years old. "When I was a young boy I lost my mum. At the time I didn't want to believe it or accept it, and it left a huge hole inside of me," he wrote.
  • Clarence House celebrated the beginning of spring with some romance over the weekend. Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles were all smiles in one of their latest Instagram posts, which said: "Wishing you a happy and healthy first day of Spring. The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall in the garden at Highgrove.#SpringEquinox.”
  • On Tuesday, Queen Rania celebrated Jordan’s Mother’s Day by posting four rare pictures on social media. The slideshow features four different photos—the first is a portrait of Rania holding her oldest child, Crown Prince Hussein, as a baby. The second pic shows a candid moment between the monarch and her daughter, Princess Iman. The third picture is a black-and-white throwback of—you guessed it—Princess Salma, followed by another snap of her youngest son, Prince Hashem.
