Watch out everyone, Kate Middleton and Prince William might have a football star on their hands (that's soccer for us Americans).

Yesterday, the Duke of Cambridge paid a visit to the England women’s football team at St. George’s Park. The royal sat in on a training session as the players and coach prepare for the UEFA Women’s Euro 2022, which officially starts on July 6.

William spoke candidly with the athletes and revealed his daughter, Princess Charlotte, has some pretty killer football skills. “Charlotte wanted me to tell you that she is really good at goals. She said ‘Please tell them that.’ She's a budding star for the future,” he said, according to Hello! Magazine.

And the best part? The football team gifted the duke with custom-made football uniforms that included all three of his children’s names on the back. The special moment was captured in a series of snapshots, which were later shared on the couple’s joint Instagram account.

“Wishing the very best of luck to the @Lionesses ahead of this summer’s UEFA Women’s Euro 2022,” the caption read. “This squad is already inspiring the next generation of women and girls to play football, reaping the mental and physical benefits of activity. With an exciting summer of football ahead, the whole nation will be cheering you on!”

A love for soccer/football may run in the Cambridge family. William has been a big fan for quite some time and is even the President of England's Football Association. And, it seems their oldest son, Prince George, has taken a liking to the sport as well.

Back in 2021, William, Middleton and George attended a soccer game at Wembley stadium. The trio cheered loudly from the sidelines and chatted with famous soccer player, David Beckham.

If only we could see Princess Charlotte’s impressive football skills in action.
