Prince William Poses with His 3 Smiling Kids in New Father’s Day Portrait on Instagram

There's nothing we love quite like a new royal family portrait, and for Father's Day, Prince William and Kate Middleton treated us to a never-before-seen snap of the Duke of Cambridge with his three kids—Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4.

The photo was shared to Prince William and Middleton's official Instagram account, where they said, “Wishing a Happy Father’s Day to fathers and grandfathers across the world today!”

In the pic, which was taken during a family trip to Jordan in 2021, the Duke of Cambridge is positioned in the center with Prince Louis seated on his shoulders. Meanwhile, Princess Charlotte and Prince George sit on either side of him, wrapped in his arms. While it's unclear what's going on the background, something has seemingly made the kids crack up, because all have giant smiles on their faces.

Although this is a newly-shared photo, we've actually seen snaps from this family trip before. Last Christmas, a portrait of the family was shared to Instagram, where Prince William and his kids are all seen wearing the same outfits. However, this photo included Middleton, who was captured in an olive green dress.

For those who might not know, Jordan holds a special meaning for the Duchess of Cambridge, because her family lived there when she was a young girl, from 1984 to 1986. Thus, Middleton decided to take her own family there for a secret trip last year.

We're just thankful to have another pic from this family trip, and royal followers seemed to adore the snap too. One user wrote, “The pure joy on these faces! Happy Father’s Day!” And another commented, “What a beautiful family! Thank you for sharing them with us all!”

Happy Father's Day to Prince William and all the other fathers out there!
