Prince William Is All Smiles with His Kids in Brand-New Birthday Pics Shot by Kate Middleton

Prince William had a lot to celebrate this weekend. Not only did he ring in his 38th birthday, but it just so happened that this year the milestone fell on Father’s Day.

In honor of the two occasions, Kensington Palace released brand-new photos of William and his kids. The first one—which was taken by Kate Middleton earlier this month—was shared on Saturday and featured the Duke of Cambridge sitting on a swing with Prince George, 6, Princess Charlotte, 5, and Prince Louis, 2.

On Sunday, the account released two more sweet snaps of William having fun with the children in the grass (no word on if the Duchess of Cambridge took the additional photos as well, but all signs point to yes). “Thank you everyone for your very kind wishes on The Duke of Cambridge's birthday today!” the caption read.

Last year, the royal family marked the father of three’s big day with a slideshow highlighting his achievements throughout the years. The post also included a now-famous pic of the family at last year’s Trooping the Colour ceremony.

The Cambridge clan has been spending the last few months self-isolating at their country home in Norfolk. However, in the last week both Kate and Will stepped out for their first public engagements since the pandemic began. The duke paid a visit to the ambulance base at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Norfolk, where he spoke with first responders about their mental health. The Duchess of Cambridge visited Fakenham Garden Centre, where she met the center’s owners, before speaking to staff members and learning about the new regulations the center must use to keep their visitors safe. Talk about a busy week.
