Prince Harry Just Stepped Out for a Royal Outing Sans Meghan Markle

Since 2017, Prince Harry and his now wife, Meghan Markle, have come as a package deal. But today, just weeks ahead of Markle’s due date, the 34-year-old prince went stag to a royal engagement. 

Prince Harry stepped out today all by his lonesome to attend the official opening of the Barking & Dagenham Future Youth Zone in Dagenham, England.

Looking sharp in a heather gray sports coat, crisp white button-down and black jeans, the Duke of Sussex cheerfully greeted well-wishers as he arrived at the event.

The brand-new facility is part of the Charity Youth Zones and is the first of three that will open in 2019. The Future Youth Zones aim to provide a safe environment for young people to come and enjoy themselves. The organization also endeavors to help kids and teens learn new skills and gain the confidence and drive to achieve all that they can. Youth empowerment is a cause close to Prince Harry’s heart and he’s involved in a number of organizations with similar missions.

Although it’s unclear if 37-year-old Markle was initially supposed to attend the event alongside her husband, the timing is a little suspect. Just this morning, the duke and duchess released a statement informing the public of their plans to keep the arrival of their firstborn private until they’ve had adequate time to celebrate as a brand-new family.

Now, they could have released the statement in advance of Baby Sussex’s arrival to get it out of the way, or perhaps the seventh in line to the throne has arrived.

All we can say is cue the royal baby speculation.
