‘Virgin River’ Star Colin Lawrence Eases the Wait for Season 4 with a New Behind-the-Scenes Video Dump

If you're like us, then you've probably been counting down the days until July 20, which is when Virgin River finally returns with 12 new episodes for its 4th season. And with the release of the official trailer earlier this weekend, we're even more impatient to catch up with the characters from one of our favorite romantic dramas. Thankfully, one of the show's stars, Colin Lawrence (AKA John "Preacher" Middleton) is helping to make the wait a little easier by sharing a series of never-before-seen BTS clips on Instagram.

Lawrence posted a new slideshow to his Instagram, writing, “Counting down the days? Here’s some more behind the scenes. This time from season two.”

In the first video, we hear Lawrence talking in the background as he scans over one of the sets that was used during season 2. “Ohh, it's gonna be a hoedown at Virgin River,” he says. The third slide sees the actor filming himself as he arrives for his first day. “So, here we are,” he says. “Day one for me on the set of Virgin River. Epic views. Pretty amazing out here guys—I can't wait for you all to watch it. Stay tuned.” The final slide gives a peek at the amazing views that Lawrence refers to in the previous clip.

This isn't the first time the Virgin River actor has tried to get viewers hyped for season 4. At the end of June, Lawrence shared another slideshow that featured some behind-the-scenes pics, and he wrote, “While you’re patiently waiting for Season Four [smiling emoji]. Here’s a behind the scenes ‘Season One’ photo dump.”

Keep these slideshows coming, Colin! In the meantime, we'll be having a Virgin River rewatch.
