On Thursday, November 10, the 13 Going on 30 actress walked the red carpet for “The Big Night Out” Gala hosted by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles. While there, Garner was asked to recognize her longtime publicist, Meredith O'Sullivan, who received the Sherry Lansing Award, and the Adam Project star made sure to dress up for the special occasion.
Jennifer Garner Says ‘Phooey’ to That Labor Day Rule as She Rocks a White Blazer and Shorts on the Red Carpet
While we were obsessed with Garner's rule-defying 'fit, we also couldn't get enough of her stylish new 'do. The Yes Day star used the event as an opportunity to debut her short bob, which is a major change from the long locks that she's been sporting as of late.
The shoulder-length, wavy cut included one long bang to the side, as well as lighter brown highlights. As noted by Elle, Garner first showed off the new 'do in an Instagram Story this past Tuesday, in which she was seen sporting her “I Voted” sticker. Garner gave her frequent hairstylist, Adir Abergel, credit for her new look.
A photo of Garner with O'Sullivan, as well as another friend, was posted to the official Lede Company Instagram account.
The caption read, “Last night, The LEDE Company was thrilled to support the amazing work and commitment to mentorship of Big Brothers Big Sisters Los Angeles (@bbbsla) at their Big Night Out gala. Jennifer Garner presented the Sherry Lansing Award to our co-founder Meredith (@mereowass), who got to celebrate her ‘little sister’ and mentee, Kalis Colman.”
