When Is the Nordstrom Black Friday 2025 sale?

The details for the November 28 shopping bonanza have yet to be announced, but I’ll have an update for you as soon as the news drops. For now, you can shop the Nordstrom Early Black Friday Sale, which is live now and runs through November 10. From November 12 to 19, the retailer will reveal additional markdowns.

What are the best deals during Nordstrom's Black Friday sale?

While this year’s deals are still being finalized, last year we saw discounts on Barbour coats, Ugg slippers and PureWow readers' favorite Natori bra. This year we expect to again see major discounts on these brands. For the Nordstrom Early Black Friday Sale, you can already find extensive savings on the brand’s in-house items, Frame Jeans, Sam Edelman shoes and AllSaints bags—which I’ve curated for you below.

The only reason I survive winter is because of my sweater collection. I will never say no to a cashmere turtleneck—why bother with a scarf if you don’t have to? This pretty pick comes in at under $150 and in nine colors, from neutrals to bright red and teal. I love styling more oversized fits by doing a side tuck or layering with a button-up underneath. Bonus: The silhouette is a great transitional piece, too, and can be thrown over your shoulders in warmer weather.

OK, I know that I just said ditch the scarf, but one cannot live perpetually in a turtleneck until winter is over. Sometimes you need one—and, honestly, no matter my other fashion choices, fall and winter will always be “All Too Well” season (Taylor Swift fans, IYKYK), and that makes a scarf essential. Yes, there’s a bright red rendition that I’m sure hallmarks the one we believe is still hiding in Maggie Gyllenhaal’s house. TS references aside, this 100 percent cashmere (a 55/45 split of recycled and virgin fibers) scarf will keep you toasty. I can attest, as wool/cashmere are my first choice in chilly weather, and I’ve nary a complaint when I’m wearing them. They’ll keep you toasty, but you won’t be sweaty.

These mid-rise jeans are Frame’s take on your boyfriend’s jeans that you love to steal. IMO, this is going to be a lot more comfortable. The 1 percent elastane gives it a tiny stretch that’ll break in with wear, and the resulting look is slouchy and slim. Cuff them, wear them full-length, with a leather jacket or a button up. Guaranteed polish, flair, with that lived-in look you’re searching for.

If you live anywhere that’s not sunny California (and Southern Cal at that), you know that we are solidly in cold weather territory. My weather app is starting to dip into the low 30s, and I’ve been gearing up. As part of Nordstrom’s early Black Friday sale, this quilted Sam Edelman jacket is under $200. There’s a faux-fur-lined hood with a snap storm placket to keep out the wind and two big pockets. The hem has an adjustable drawstring that hits the knees.

Should you be thinking that these loafers look oddly familiar, that’s because they’re a pretty close match to the popular Gucci loafers—but at about a tenth of the price. Still, for under $200, you get a leather shoe with that quintessential horsebit hardware running across the top of the foot. As someone who struggles with the bulkiness of this shoe style, I appreciate that this Sam Edelman pair is slimmer, with plenty of color options.

Per PureWow Fashion Editor Abby Hepworth, the barn jacket is the *It* jacket of 2025. While it has a distinct look, it’s also a classic and styles with versatility. Levi’s iteration of the timeless silhouette is currently under $150. There are two sets of giant pockets and a snappy corduroy collar. Plus, it’s machine washable. I own a barn jacket and love pairing it with jeans and button ups or sweaters, and even over slacks. It’s the perfect transitional piece that’s just insulated enough to keep you warm in early winter without layering like a crazy person.

If you like to keep your makeup with you on the go, Longchamp made a cosmetics case version of its classic Le Pliage bag. It has all the elements you’d expect from the original, including the leather top handle and snap flap closure. I’ve had a Le Pliage tote for probably a decade now (and duffle for five years), and the biggest selling point remains, to me, the foldability. It collapses into nothing and is so easy to store when not in use. The size is great for your beauty essentials when you need it and will disappear when you don’t.

Winter is always challenging for me because I hate pants. My secret weapon for making it through 20-degree days has been, strangely, wool skirts and dresses. I can attest, I’m no colder than if I had put on a pair of pants. I’m eying this smart polo style, which is composed of 62 percent wool and 27 percent cashmere, plus a little spandex for stretch and comfort. (My rule when shopping is that if I can’t get 100 percent natural fibers, it needs to be at least 70 percent wool for the warmth factor to kick in.) A modest side slit will show off your knee-high boots, while the ribbing adds a little texture to this otherwise cozy knit.

Comfy can still be cute and put together. The Nordstrom early Black Friday sale includes these joggers with, as the name suggests, plenty of pockets. Three, to be exact. Two front slant pockets, plus a side zip security pocket for essential valuables. The joggers are stretchy thanks to some spandex, but cut a sleek profile. My favorite part? They’re machine washable and can be tossed in the dryer.

10. Nordstrom Cashmere Crewneck

Barefoot Dreams

You can never have too many cashmere sweaters. Too many sweaters, in general. How do I know this? Every year, I swear I will not buy another sweater. By the end of the season, I’ve bought at least one. I’ve recently pledged to do two things for my wardrobe. A) Stop buying plastic and B) stick to mono-materials. This 100 percent cashmere crewneck satisfies both accounts. And, it comes in a bevy of bright colors (in addition to the requisite neutrals).

Sure, we all want the feeling of being in spandex-laden joggers like those above, but sometimes, the occasion demands something more tailored. Enter these pants. Elastic waist, 14 percent elastane, machine washable. Also with a zip fly, pockets and a wide-leg cut that’s just the fashionable side of slouchy, meaning you can wear them to the office but also while lounging on the couch.

PSA: Bucket bags are everywhere. At least, on my New York radar. I’ve been carrying one for a year. My favorite French clothing brand, Sézane, keeps one in their stable of classic handbag silhouettes. Former PureWow Associate Fashion Commerce Editor Stephanie Meraz called it one of spring 2025’s trending styles. I don’t anticipate the shape to go anywhere anytime soon. AllSaints’ version marries the bucket with the slouch of the hobo, which has also been having a moment. The leather bag has an exterior zip and side pocket, plus interior wall pockets with a magnetic snap closure. It’s a hefty size and will accommodate up to a 13-inch laptop.
