Expertise:
I’m a seasoned beauty and fashion editor, content strategist, and storyteller with over a decade of experience shaping narratives across print and digital media. Known for my editorial vision and commitment to inclusive storytelling, I specialize in beauty, fashion, and wellness coverage. At PureWow, I spearhead fashion and beauty special projects and help shape the voice of both verticals.
Experience:
I’ve held leadership and editorial roles at some of the industry’s most influential outlets. I served as Beauty Director at Marie Claire, where I oversaw all beauty-related content, partnerships, and award-winning special projects. Before that, I helped shape beauty coverage at Allure.com, Essence.com, and L’Oréal-owned platforms including Makeup.com and Skincare.com. At Essence, I launched the hair channel, a project that earned me the prestigious Henry R. Luce Award from Time Inc. Beyond editorial leadership, I’ve consulted with leading brands on storytelling and strategy, and my bylines have appeared in The New York Times, SELF, Harper’s Bazaar, Women’s Health, Byrdie, Teen Vogue, and more.
Education:
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Pittsburgh, where I built a strong foundation in writing, reporting, and editorial development. My ongoing professional growth includes continuous engagement with product innovation and trend forecasting.
