The caption read, “S4 wrap for the handsome, kind, smart Jack Sheridan! #virginriver #virginriverseries #virginrivernetflix #virginriverseriesnetflix #netflix.”
Fans immediately filled the comments section with congratulatory remarks. One person wrote, “Congratulations @martinhendersonofficial [applause emojis] Thank you for all of the long hours & hard work to bring us S4! Enjoy your well-deserved break.” Another added, “Woohoo!!! Can’t wait to see S4 when it drops!!!”
The news shouldn’t come as a huge surprise to dedicated fans. Virgin River season four started filming earlier this year, so many suspected that production would wrap just in time for the holidays. This week, crew also dismissed Alexandra Breckenridge (Melinda “Mel” Monroe), who finished shooting her scenes.
Producers posted a BTS video of Breckenridge performing a dance move that resembles an air guitar before giving her final curtsy. “This is how cast and crew say it’s a wrap to the smart, beautiful and talented Mel Monroe,” the caption read.
Virgin River originally premiered on Netflix back in 2019 and immediately developed a dedicated fanbase, thanks to its feel-good story. The show follows a nurse practitioner named Mel, who moves to the small town for a fresh start.
And…that’s a wrap for Mel and Jack.
