Virgin River fans can breathe a sigh of relief because Martin Henderson just confirmed that season 4 will answer all our burning questions (including that baby daddy cliffhanger).
The 47-year-old actor—who plays Jack Sheridan—sat down for a recent interview with The Digital Fix. Although he mainly talked about his upcoming horror movie, X, he also shared exclusive details about what’s to come in Virgin River season four.
Henderson didn’t reveal any major spoilers, claiming “it’ll give it away.” However, he did confirm the new episodes will address questions that were left unanswered.
“I’m just going to say that season four reveals and answers all the questions, but then presents some more,” Henderson told the outlet. “I think season four is going to be really satisfying for people because of that giant cliffhanger. There were multiple cliffhangers, which gives a little love/hate situation for the audience, where they love but hate the wait.”
As you recall, Virgin River season three left fans with several questions. First, there’s John “Preacher” Middleton (Colin Lawrence), who was kidnapped and left in the woods. There’s also Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge), who told Jack that she’s pregnant…but she doesn’t know if he’s the father. While there are several theories floating around, Henderson hinted at an unexpected twist.
“It’s going to be worth it, because the writers really answer that stuff,” he said. “I think people will be satisfied.”
Now all we need is for Netflix to announce a premiere date for Virgin River season four. *Hint, hint*
