Hey, hey, hey, hey! What is going on here? Saved by the Bell is getting a much-needed makeover. (Well, sorta.)
The popular ’90s series is returning to the small screen, according to E! News. But instead of its usual home at NBC, the new show will air exclusively on Instagram (or IGTV).
The miniseries will feature four- to six-minute clips from Saved by the Bell. Although it will only include scenes from old episodes, the videos are specifically designed to play vertically on the social media platform.
The original show premiered in 1989 and ran for five seasons. It starred Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Zack), Mario Lopez (A.C.), Dustin Diamond (Screech), Tiffani Thiessen (Kelly), Elizabeth Berkley (Jessie), Lark Voorhies (Lisa) and Dennis Haskins (Richard).
