- Prince William and Kate Middleton attended the Wimbledon men’s singles final with their son, Prince George. The duchess wore a navy-blue polka-dot dress by Alessandra Rich, and subtly paid tribute to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana.
- At the event, Prince William broke royal protocol when he seemingly cursed in public. In a video that was shared to Twitter, the duke appeared to drop the F-bomb.
- There’s a reason why the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge brought Prince George but left their youngest kids—Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis—at home. As Hello! magazine points out, Wimbledon has a rule that states children must be older than five to attend the event. Plus, they wanted it to be a special day for George.
- According to body language expert Darren Stanton, Prince William and Middleton were “matching and mirroring” each other during their outing with Prince George.
