Prince William & Kate Middleton Just Took a Helicopter Ride with Their 3 Kids (& Dog!)

We aren’t sure how we’d react if we ever spotted a royal family member in the wild. (Consider this a fair warning.) However, based on this firsthand account, it sounds like a must-experience event.

Meet Elle Kay, a British girl who recently documented her Prince William and Kate Middleton sighting on her personal Instagram account (@hermesluv). Kay explained that she spotted the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge boarding a helicopter on the grounds of Kensington Palace, which are surprisingly visible from a nearby park. They were accompanied by their three children—Prince George (7), Princess Charlotte (6) and Prince Louis (3)—and their dog.

She captioned the post, “Stroll through the park led to a lucky sighting of Prince William & Kate, 3 lil ones, & a [dog emoji]! (Friday, 7 May, 2021).”

We have several unanswered questions about this surprise outing. For example, where did Prince William, Middleton and the rest of the family go? Do they regularly travel via helicopter? And finally, since when is the family’s dog a frequent flyer?

If we had to guess, we’d say Prince William and Middleton likely traveled to Anmer Hall, which is located in Norfolk. Not only did they self-isolate there during the coronavirus pandemic, but they also celebrated Princess Charlotte’s sixth birthday at the family’s country home.

At this rate, those kids will be aviation professionals by the time they’re teenagers.
