Kate Middleton Just Politely Shaded Prince William’s Sweet Tooth

Royals: They’re just like us (kinda). They’re still adjusting to Zoom calls, they can’t get enough of podcasting and they’re definitely fans of Mary Berry. But did you know that not even royals are immune to the intoxicating power of candy? This revelation came straight from Kate Middleton herself.

The 38-year-old Duchess of Cambridge revealed during a Zoom call with students and teachers from Casterton Primary Academy that Prince William has been known to overdo it on the Easter chocolate.

At the end of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s call, which they conducted in advance of this weekend’s Easter holiday, one educator said, “Hope there’s chocolate at your house as well.”

The couple laughed and the 37-year-old Duke of Cambridge admitted, “There will be a lot of chocolate being eaten here. Don’t worry.” K-Middy quipped, “You keep eating it,” to William. Burn!

This year, the Cambridge family is expected to spend their Easter at their country estate, Anmer Hall. The ten-bedroom mansion is on the property of Queen Elizabeth’s Sandringham country home and is actually where the couple lived full-time when Prince George was younger. Their eldest children Prince George (6) and Princess Charlotte (4) are experiencing remote learning from their elementary school Thomas’s Battersea, so that will definitely keep them busy. And while Prince Louis (1) isn’t of school-age yet, Middleton shared that she’s been keeping him and the rest of her brood occupied by planting seeds and playing outdoors. The grounds also have a tennis court and swimming pool, so that’s certainly helpful in curbing stir-craziness.

Let’s just hope they have enough chocolate to keep up with Prince William’s sweet tooth.
