Break out the barbecue and bathing suits because it’s officially summer break for Kate Middleton and Prince William.
It’s been a busy July for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who have attended everything from baby Archie’s christening and a charity polo match to Wimbledon (multiple times). But, after the couple’s day date to the 2019 men’s tennis finals this past Sunday, it appears they may be taking a brief break from royal engagements to enjoy some rest and relaxation.
According to Hello, the Cambridges are now on holiday from public duty. But don’t worry, they’ll be back before you know it. It’s typical for working members of the royal family to vacation in July and August and return to business in September.
Last year, the couple and their children, Prince George (5), Princess Charlotte (4) and Prince Louis (1), traveled to the island of Mustique, near St. Vincent and the Grenadines and, of course, made their annual trip to Balmoral Castle to spend time with Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.
