Kate Middleton’s Personalized Necklace Is a Sweet Tribute to Her 3 Kids

When it comes to her outfits, Kate Middleton pays close attention to every last detail. Yep—even her jewelry.

On Tuesday, the Duchess of Cambridge paid a visit to Battersea Park in London to learn about the importance of parent-powered support programs. According to the official Kensington Palace Instagram account, the 38-year-old royal “spoke with representatives and volunteers from different organizations who run peer-to-peer support programs about their services and the impact that COVID-19 is having on families across the country.”

For the occasion, Middleton rewore a pair of pink trousers from Marks and Spencer. She topped off the look with a white blouse and a pair of Superga sneakers. But it was the little something around her neck that really caught our attention: A sentimental necklace featuring the initials of her three kids.

Per Marie Claire, the gold necklace includes three individual discs, each one engraved with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis’s initials. She layered the piece with a two-strand gold chain with beaded details from the brand Spells of Love. Unfortunately, we don’t know exactly where the sentimental piece is from and the double-strand necklace is currently sold out. However, it is available for preorder.

This isn’t the only personalized accessory Middleton has to honor her children. The duchess also owns (and frequently sports) a Daniella Draper pendant, featuring a solid gold disc (again) engraved with their initials.

Her sister-in-law, Meghan Markle also owns a personalized piece in honor of her son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten Windsor. The duchess’ Mini Mini Jewels Diamond Accented Dog Tag Initial Pendant Necklace features both an “A” for Archie and an “H” for Harry.

We’re sensing a trend here.
