Goldie Hawn turned 74 yesterday, so her daughter, Kate Hudson, celebrated the milestone with a heartfelt tribute on social media.
Hudson shared a never-before-seen photo in honor of her mom’s birthday, and it’s safe to say she doesn’t look a day over 50.
The pic features Hawn posing with the actress’s 1-year-old daughter, Rani, who is soaking up every minute with her cool (in our humble opinion) grandmother.
Hudson captioned the post, “The two most important ladies in my life and it happens to be one of their birthdays. Happy Birthday beautiful Mama. @goldiehawn #HipHipHooray.”
The actress and her mom have consistently celebrated each other’s birthdays on social media. Back in April, Hawn posted a throwback photo on Instagram in honor of Hudson’s 40th year, and the Overboard star hasn’t changed a bit.
She wrote, “Twinkle twinkle little star. I wish I wonder who you are. Bring to me a little girl so I can mother a precious pearl. That will bring more love into my world. Thank you for my Katie girl! Happy birthday darling Xx.” Guess we’ll add poetry to Hawn’s long list of skills.
In 2017, Hudson and her beau, Danny Fujikawa, welcomed their first child together, a little girl named Rani. Although the actress also has two sons from previous relationships—Ryder (15) and Bingham (8)—it appears Hawn has a special bond with her granddaughter.
