This all-new photo proves that David Beckham is slowly morphing into Elton John, and it’s oddly fascinating.
It all started yesterday when Victoria Beckham shared a photo on her personal Instagram account. The pic features David dressed in the 72-year-old singer’s signature outfit: a vivid gold Versace shirt and bedazzled Gucci sunglasses.
She captioned the post, “This is everything!! #rocketman @eltonjohn @davidfurnish @davidbeckham,” along with a rocket emoji.
Victoria and David are currently on vacation with John and his husband, David Furnish. The Beckhams also brought along their four children, Brooklyn (20), Romeo (16), Cruz (14) and Harper (8).
For the past few days, the group has been making us jealous living it up in Europe on John’s yacht and appear to be getting along just fine. While we don’t know the purpose of the vacay, the fact that David dressed up as the “Rocket Man” singer is leading us to believe that it’s strictly pleasure.
During the trip, David and Elton celebrated the 24-year anniversary of their friendship. The soccer player documented the momentous occasion on Instagram and wrote, “Gorgeous day with @eltonjohn @davidfurnish. 24 years we have known each other, and we laugh like it’s day one.”
After 24 years of friendship, no wonder David is practically turning into Elton right before our eyes.
