Last week, David Beckham bravely embarked on a monumental undertaking in the form of a 4,000-piece LEGO Disney castle he promised to build his and wife Victoria Beckham’s six-year-old daughter, Harper. And now, we'd like to give the man a standing ovation because: Mission. Accomplished.
Yesterday was a glorious day indeed as Beckham shared a photo on Instagram of the completed royal masterpiece. Although it consumed much of his blood, sweat and (what can only be handsome) tears over the last six days, proud papa Beckham proved nothing tastes as good as baby girl Harper's smile feels. The post included an early morning selfie of Beckham posing next to the dazzling palace and captioned, “1 a.m. done. Someone's gonna have a nice surprise in the morning zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.” Dedication at its finest, folks.
The 42-year-old first announced the project last week when he posted an overwhelming “before” picture that made our brains hurt. “Page 1 of the Disney castle. 4000 pieces 490 pages of instructions. I look confused but I'm so excited,” he captioned the post.
