Claire Foy Seeing Kate Middleton and Prince William at the BAFTAs Is Peak Fangirl
Claire Foy may no longer portray young Queen Elizabeth on Netflix’s The Crown (that role is being handed over to Olivia Colman for season three), but she still fangirls over the royals, as evidenced by the now-viral photo taken of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s grand entrance at the BAFTAs.
During last night’s BAFTAs (basically the British Oscars), Kate Middleton and Prince William stepped out to celebrate British Film and TV stars.
The duchess wore a princess-like one-shoulder white gown with floral details by Alexander McQueen and, most notably, accessorized with a pair of her late mother-in-law Princess Diana’s massive diamond, pearl and silver earrings.
Now, here Claire Foy is on the red carpet before the awards show started (and possibly before she even realized Kate and Wills were there.)

Have you ever seen a happier Claire Foy? Well, except when she's on safari with Prince Philip (on the show), of course.
