Kate Middleton Rewore This Royally Red Zara Blazer for Special Video Cheering on the England Women’s Rugby Team

Kate Middleton is often surprising us with her fashion choices, but we love it just as much when she rewears our favorite staples.

Earlier this week, on Friday, October 7, the Princess of Wales sent her well-wishes to the England women's rugby club as they headed to the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.

The caption teased: “A special good luck message for the #RedRoses from our patron The Princess of Wales. #TeamDream | @KensingtonRoyal.” And just from the thumbnail, we could tell that the royal was sporting her iconic red Zara blazer.

“Hello everyone,” Princess Catherine says at the beginning of the clip. “I wanted to take a moment to wish the Red Roses all the very best of luck for the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand. I had so much fun with you all at Twickenham earlier this year and I cannot wait to see how you get on during the tournament.”

Middleton became the Patron of the Rugby Football League and Rugby Football Union earlier this year (a position formerly held by Prince Harry) and she was seen playing around with the team at Twickenham Stadium back in February. The princess has also been spotted supporting the English rugby teams in the stands as well.

She closed her message by saying, “For many of the team, this will be the first World Cup you've played in. Congratulations on being selected for the squad. I know this will be a particularly proud moment in your career so far, and I hope you enjoy every minute. I was also delighted to hear that some of the winning squad from 2014 are back to help bring the cup home again. Good luck for the weeks ahead. I'll be setting my alarm clock early to cheer you on all the way.”

And while we loved Princess Catherine's message, we also loved her tweed blazer from Zara, a scene-stealing piece of outerwear that she's worn on a number of occasions in the past.

Just this past February, the royal wore the statement piece during a solo trip to Copenhagen, where she seemed to be paying tribute to the country (due to the fact that her blazer matched the color of Denmark's flag).

Meanwhile, the princess has used the Zara coat to show her support for other English teams in the past. In June 2021, she donned the article of clothing while watching a football (or, soccer) game with Prince William and Prince George at Wembley Stadium.

Unfortunately, the textured, double-breasted blazer is no longer for sale on Zara's site, but the retailer has a similar design (for $99) here. Otherwise, you can also find very close designs from Smythe and Boohoo.
