Clean Beauty Brand CocoKind Is Donating All of Its Proceeds to Organizations Fighting for Change

Clean beauty brand CocoKind is stepping up and declaring that it does not stand for racial injustice. Following the murder of George Floyd and the protests taking place worldwide, the company has pledged to donate profits to charities fighting for the Black Lives Matter movement.

Yup. CocoKind is donating 100 percent of its profits to a different organization every day this week. The company announced the news in an Instagram post on Tuesday writing, “There are so many more organizations we want to help support.”

Here’s where the profits will be going each day:

However, in addition to that, the skincare brand has also donated $10,000 to the ACLU

“We are appalled to constantly hear stories of the pervasive, violent racism that plagues America,” they wrote in a separate Instagram post. “Our voices and actions matter, today and every day. We believe that businesses have a responsibility to make an impact, which is why we will be donating $10k to @aclu_nationwide. This is what really matters in the world right now. now is the time to speak up and act.”

If you’re unfamiliar with the brand, CocoKind's entire skincare line is made with clean ingredients and also really, really affordable—as in, everything is under $25. Not to mention, its products can be found in Target and Ulta

This is the kind of activism and selflessness we all need to be doing right now.
