Rivett sat down for an interview and explained how she first crossed paths with Princess Diana in 1991 as well as the princess’s two sons, Prince William and Prince Harry. “[Her boys] were her whole world and would often join in on our training sessions at Kensington Palace—annoying her occasionally,” Rivett said.

It all started when a TikTok user (@royalfancams) posted a video on social media, featuring back-to-back footage of Princess Charlotte and Middleton fixing their ponytails in the same way. Although both clips were taken at different times there’s no denying the similarities in their mannerisms. And we’re totally not surprised.

On Friday, Buckingham Palace announced the “saddening” news that the couple will not be returning as working members of the royal family. “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have confirmed to Her Majesty The Queen that they will not be returning as working members of The Royal Family," BP wrote in a statement.
