Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Grant Extremely Rare Interview to Oprah and ‘Nothing Is Off-Limits’

Just one day after we learned that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are officially expecting their second child together, we got another surprise about the royal couple. Turns out, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will participate in an exclusive interview with their pal, Oprah Winfrey. And it’s coming very soon.

On Monday, CBS announced that the television personality will be sitting down with the soon-to-be parents of two for a 90-minute primetime special. Per the report, the special interview will air Sunday, March 7 on CBS, and will feature a conversation first with Markle, joined later by Harry.

“Winfrey will speak with Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, in a wide-ranging interview, covering everything from stepping into life as a Royal, marriage, motherhood, philanthropic work to how she is handling life under intense public pressure,” CBS revealed in a statement. “Later, the two are joined by Prince Harry as they speak about their move to the United States and their future hopes and dreams for their expanding family.”

And according to Winfrey's longtime friend and collaborator, Gayle King, “nothing is off-limits.” “I know she's been working on the questions all weekend long," Gayle said during Tuesday’s CBS This Morning per ET. “I'm told nothing is off-limits. She can ask anything she wants.”

While we’re surprised to hear the 39-year-old actress and the 35-year-old prince are participating in a tell-all interview, we’re not shocked that they agreed to do so with Winfrey. Not only have the trio been friends for years (the 67-year-old star even attended their 2018 wedding), but they are also neighbors in their Montecito neighborhood

ICYMI: The Sussexes announced the pregnancy news on Valentine’s Day through a statement obtained by People. A spokesperson told the outlet, “We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child.”

Mark your calendars, we have a feeling this interview is going to be a good one.
