Queen Elizabeth Just Responded to Prince Harry & Meghan Markle’s Claims

Ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s tell-all conversation aired on CBS, we’ve been anxious to hear from Queen Elizabeth. Well, the wait is finally over.

Today, Buckingham Palace released a heartfelt statement on behalf of the 94-year-old monarch in response to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s claims about receiving very little support from the royal family.

“The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan,” it read.

It also addressed accusations that were made about the couple’s 1-year-old son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. “The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning,” it continued. “While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately.”

The statement concluded with a heartwarming message: “Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members.”

The queen is responding to Prince Harry and Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey, which shed light on how poorly the couple was treated before and after stepping down as senior members of the royal family.

One thing’s for sure: It’s been one hell of a week for the royal family…and it’s only Tuesday.
