Queen Elizabeth is showing a major sign of support as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle return to Canada following their final week of royal duties.
The 93-year-old monarch gave the Duke and Duchess of Sussex a subtle nod today when she debuted a never-before-seen photo of the couple during a meeting with Professor Mark Compton, Lord Prior of the Order of St. John, at Buckingham Palace. The purpose of the meeting was for Professor Compton to present Her Majesty with the Order’s first-ever Service Medal in Gold, but there was one other major takeaway from the encounter.
As eagle-eyed royal fans will notice, there’s a new photo of her 35-year-old grandson and his 38-year-old wife displayed prominently in a gold frame on the credenza to the right of the queen.
