Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Arrive at St. Paul’s Cathedral—and Look Right at Home

Rip the band-aid off: We can only imagine the nerves and jitters felt by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as they made their way to St. Paul’s Cathedral for the Service of Thanksgiving in honor of Queen Elizabeth, their first public occasion together with the royal family since their departure as senior working royals in March 2020.

Their seatmates for the service? None other than Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank. (Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi were just two seats over.) It definitely seemed like old times for Harry as he playfully chatted away with Jack, who recently visited Harry and Meghan (and Archie and Lili!) in Montecito, along with Eugenie and their son August, who recently turned one.

For what it’s worth, the pair looked right at home as they arrived. Meghan was dressed in a white coat dress while Harry wore a suit adorned with military medals.

As they made their way in for the ceremony, they happily shook hands and chatted with members of the clergy just before making their way to their seats in a solo processional of sorts, which many noted was likely a show of support from the queen that they got their own entrance.

Of course, the energy of this appearance was quite the contrast to the Commonwealth Day ceremony in March 2020 at Westminster Abbey when everyone looked a bit chilly and stiff.

Bottom line: It’s wonderful to see them and we hope to see a lot more of them this weekend as the Platinum Jubilee carries on.
