Prince Harry’s Father Prince Charles Responds to the Arrival of His New Grandchild

Kate Middleton and Prince William aren’t the only ones celebrating the arrival of baby Lilibet from across the pond. Prince Charles is also sending his well-wishes to his new grandchild on social media.

On Sunday, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle revealed that they welcomed their second child, a baby girl named Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.

The news was shared with a message from the duo on their Archewell website that read, “On June 4th, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Lili. She is more than we could have ever imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we’ve felt from across the globe. Thank you for your continued kindness and support during this very special time for our family.”

Shortly after the news broke, Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla Parker Bowles, shared their excitement on their joint social media account.

“Congratulations to Harry, Meghan and Archie on the arrival of baby Lilibet Diana. Wishing them all well at this time,” they captioned a shot of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Archie on IG.

Fans and followers were quick to send their congratulations to the Prince of Wales on his latest addition to the family. One user wrote, “Class acts, Charles and Camilla,” while another added, “Congratulations your Royal Highness another beautiful granddaughter.”

As we mentioned above, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also shared their “delight” on Instagram. “We are all delighted by the happy news of the arrival of baby Lili. Congratulations to Harry, Meghan and Archie,” they wrote alongside a black-and-white maternity photo featuring Meghan, Harry and Archie.

Congrats, Grandpa Charles.
