Meghan Markle’s latest project launch was packed with surprises. A surprise women’s mentorship program, a surprise peek inside her home and surprise cameos. One thing we almost missed? Her zodiac necklaces that apparently hold a very special meaning.

ICYMI: To mark her 40th birthday on Wednesday, the Duchess of Sussex announced her initiative, 40x40, a global effort encouraging people around the world to commit to giving 40 minutes of their time to support women going back to work. For the program, Markle asked 40 activists, athletes, artists and world leaders to participate by contributing 40 minutes of mentorship to women reentering the workforce.

To share the big news, the mother of two released a video from a talk with actress Melissa McCarthy, who was one of the many individuals who gave their time to mentor a woman in their community. Lucky for us, the clip gave viewers an up-close look at the duchess’s home office and an even closer look at her new accessories.

Turns out, the now-40-year-old sported two zodiac necklaces from LA-based jewelry designer Logan Hollowell. According to a press release, Markle wore the brand’s Gemini Constellation Necklace and Taurus Constellation Necklace to represent her children’s astrological signs. Archie, who celebrated his 2nd birthday back in May, is a Taurus while his baby sister, who the couple welcomed back in June, is a Gemini.

Available in diamond and white sapphire, the pieces feature a constellation pendant hung from an 18" chain with an additional loop at 16”. They also come with hefty price tags ($1,785 for the Gemini accessory and $1,600 for the Taurus). Luckily, we found a similar piece more in our price range on Verishop.

And we’re not surprised Markle included the tribute to her kids. In fact, this video was her first official appearance since giving birth to baby Lili.

Leave it to Meghan to include meaningful accessories in her meaningful birthday initiative announcement.
