Meghan Markle’s ‘40x40’ Launch Video Includes a Surprise Cameo from Prince Harry & Their Dog

Meghan Markle wanted her 40th birthday to be special, which is why she released a video announcing the launch of her latest mentorship program for women looking to get back into the job force. Even more, that video included a surprise cameo from Prince Harry and one of the couple’s dogs.

On Wednesday, the Duchess of Sussex announced her latest project, 40x40, a global effort encouraging people around the world to commit to giving 40 minutes of their time to support women going back to work. For the program, Markle asked 40 activists, athletes, artists and world leaders to participate by contributing 40 minutes of mentorship to women reentering the workforce.

In celebration of the launch, the mother of two shared a video from a talk with actress Melissa McCarthy, who was one of the many individuals who gave their time to mentor a woman in their community.

And while we love the witty banter between these two women, it was two others in the clip that really caught our attention (even if they were only in it for a few seconds). The first? Meghan and Harry’s rescue beagle named Guy. We first get a glimpse of the pup within the first five seconds. On the floor behind the duchess’s left shoulder, we see the good boy laying on his dog bed, where he seems to remain throughout the duration of the footage.

Guy wasn’t the only one making a surprise appearance. During the bloopers portion of the video (at approximately 2 minutes and 8 seconds), Markle’s hubby makes a cameo in a back window. The Duke of Sussex isn’t just casually going for a walk outside, but instead, he’s seen practicing his juggling.

So, while we were expecting to celebrate Meghan’s birthday today, we weren’t expecting to see Prince Harry working on his hidden talents in the back of a launch video for his wife’s new mentorship program.
