Meghan Markle’s Oscar de la Renta Dress Stole the Show During Her & Harry’s Surprise Spotify Appearance

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry just made their first surprise appearance since announcing that they’re expecting their second child together and that they will not be returning as working members of the royal family. Not surprisingly, Markle made sure to dress for the occasion.

On Monday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made an unexpected virtual appearance on Spotify's Stream On event, during which the couple shared details about their new production company, Archewell Audio, as well as their new podcasts.

“We're using podcasting to drive powerful conversations,” Markle said during the appearance. “We created Archewell Audio so we could elevate voices that maybe aren't being heard, and hear people's stories.” Harry added, “And the biggest part of this is trying to create this community, of where you can share, will encourage everyone else to then share their own vulnerabilities within that safe space.”

For the occasion, the 39-year-old mother opted for a gorgeous, drop-waist dress from Oscar de la Renta. Called the Citrus Primavera Peplum Hem Dress, the piece features lemon appliques and gives off some serious ‘60s vibes. After doing some digging, we learned that the dress, which retails for a whopping $3,490, is currently only available for pre-order.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the duchess rock a patterned dress from the designer. Back in 2019, Markle broke royal protocol when she stepped out in a sheer Oscar de la Renta midi dress covered in little animals and flowers.

Oscar de la Renta and pregnancy look good on you, Meghan.
