Meghan Markle’s Go-To Shoe Brand Just Released a Gorgeous Flat Inspired by the ‘Girl with a Pearl Earring’ Painting

Since her pre-royal days, Meghan Markle has been a big fan of New York–based shoe brand Sarah Flint. From her go-to Lily flats to her Marina knee-high boots, the 38-year-old Duchess of Sussex turns to the footwear designer on the reg to complete her famously chic outfits.

Now, in honor of the fifth anniversary of the brand’s popular Natalie flat, Sarah Flint just dropped a limited-edition made-to-order collection of flats inspired by Johannes Vermeer’s “Girl with the Pearl Earring” painting.

The opulent flats are crafted with 18-karat solid gold, 49 genuine pearls and hand-pleated Italian satin, meaning they’re definitely fit for a certain duchess. To make the shoes even more in line with the Duchess of Sussex’s principles, proceeds from the special release will go to the Lower Eastside Girls Club, which acts as a safe haven for female high schoolers and middle schoolers and offers programs in arts, science, leadership, entrepreneurship and wellness. So how much do these pretty little things, which the Sarah Flint website refers to as “the pinnacle of luxury,” cost? They’re “price upon request,” aka a lot.

If you’re looking for something a little more non-royal-wallet-friendly, the footwear brand also just released two more limited-edition versions of the Natalie in suede merlot and gold Napa leather. They run for a cool $365, which is definitely easier to swallow. And, in celebration of the new Natalies, the brand is offering $50 off the pointed-toe flat on SarahFlint.com.

A Meghan Markle look on sale? We’re all about it (although we still kind of wish we could justify those “Girl with the Pearl Earring” beauties).
