You sit in an freezing-cold air conditioned office all day, leaving only once midday to grab the same-old salad around noon. A summer to remember. (Ha.) But it's totally worth it when you get to spend those precious vacation days on some sandy shore with a frozen marg in hand. Except, what if your job was a vacation?
Days Inn (yep) wants to make that dream a reality with its “Sun-tern” dream-job contest. The budget hotel chain wants to hire one lucky person to travel the U.S. this summer and take gorgeous sunlit pics for its hotel art installations, and as if that weren’t enough, the gig also pays $10,000. Between July and August, the winner of the contest will jet through the U.S., staying at Days Inns and capturing sunsets aboard a hot air balloon, sunrise yoga classes in San Diego and other sun-inspired adventures. The photography will be turned into framed artwork to be featured in 1,500 Days Inn hotels.
To apply, submit your best outdoor ’Gram with a 100-word paragraph about why you’re the “brightest person for the job” to the Days Inn application website by May 20.
