If you haven’t heard, we love Aldi. It has everything: affordable groceries, award-winning wine, stylish home goods… So naturally, we were pumped to hear about its latest genius idea: a wine Advent calendar for Christmas.
Picture it: an assortment of red, white, rosé and bubbly, amounting to about six bottles of wine for $67. It’s a Christmas miracle.
Aldi quickly took the proverbial Champagne glass from our hands when it decided to make this festive deal a U.K. exclusive. But don’t get your tinsel in a bunch. We found a stateside alternative to celebrate.
Vinebox, a by-the-glass wine subscription service, is bringing back last year’s popular “12 Nights of Wine” calendar. It will include 12 single-glass vials of specially curated wines in a pretty holiday box, all for $129. Last year’s stock sold out in four weeks, but this year, we’ll be ready.
Preordering begins on October 1, so mark your calendar. (You know, your boring normal calendar that isn’t filled with wine.)
