Paws up, little monsters. Oreo just released limited edition pink-and-green Oreos in honor of Lady Gaga’s album, Chromatica. And it turns out that just *looking* at them gives us a pick-me-up we didn’t know we needed.
The album and song of the same name, which both received nominations for the 2021 Grammys, are set in the fictional world of Chromatica, a land ruled by kindness punks, neon outfits, pop music and dance. So, it’s safe to say these vibrant treats hit the nail on the head. The snack is made with pink-colored golden Oreo cookies and bright green crème (which despite its color, tastes the same as the O.G.). The cookies also have three Chromatica-inspired designs etched into them, as well.
Six-packs and full-size packs of the Oreos just hit shelves. Oreo is celebrating with a remote scavenger hunt today until 3 p.m.; 50 participants will be randomly chosen to win a pack of Lady Gaga-signed cookies (check Oreo's Twitter for clues).
If you miss it, there's still plenty of Gaga-infused fun to be had. Try making your own musical message with an OREOgram as part of the Sing It With Oreo initiative. Rumor has it that participants will have a shot at winning some Lady Gaga swag, plus a meet-and-greet with Mother Monster. You can also sign up for the Lady Gaga x Oreo Stan Club to get emails about future Gaga-inspired collabs.
Rain on us, Oreos. Rain. On. Us.
