Coated in sprinkles, dipped in chocolate or topped with whipped cream and a cherry, we love ice cream. And from December 12 through January 22, we finally have a way to express our adoration (besides, you know, ordering a triple scoop).
The Museum of Ice Cream is Miami’s newest—and, dare we say, tastiest—interactive exhibition, and it’s finally opening the doors to its pastel-hued wonders tomorrow.
Just like the museum’s sister locations on the West Coast—all of which sold out crazy fast—Miami’s version promises to be an Instagram wonderland. Think larger-than-life ice pops and sandcastles, a bubblegum-pink jungle with a banana swing and, the pièce de résistance, an Art Deco-inspired pool of rainbow sprinkles that’s large enough to swim in.
Obviously, there will be plenty of actual ice-cream samples, courtesy of local creameries including Azucar Ice Cream Company and Lulu’s Nitrogen Ice Cream.
As of today, tickets are still available, but if the museum’s other outposts are any indication, they’ll last about as long as a soft-serve swirl on a hot Miami day. Reserve yours now and start practicing your cannonball...for the sprinkle pool, of course.
