We know, we know. Rushing summer is a sin, but we can’t help looking forward to Labor Day when the sales are plentiful and we can give our home a much-deserved fall makeover. And we’re not just talking about upgrading our plates and refreshing the towels in every bathroom—we mean big-ticket purchases like couches, beds and coffee tables. You better believe we’ll be marking our calendar for the weekend of September 7. Here, 12 Labor Day furniture sales we’re anticipating for the end of summer 2020, all based on what retailers did last year.

RELATED: What Will Labor Day Sales Look Like This Year? Here’s What We’re Anticipating

1. Allform

Allform is a new custom furniture brand from the makers of Helix mattresses. And although they just launched, their epic 20 percent off Fourth of July sale was extended through the middle of the month. So, we have a sneaking suspicion that they’ll be offering a similar deal come Labor Day.

2. Amazon

Amazon doesn’t typically have a Labor Day sale (at least not in the traditional sense), but in years past we’ve seen major deals on Amazon’s own home brands, like Rivet and Stone & Beam, leading up to the last days of summer. Our tip? Keep an eye on the Today’s Deals section around September 7.

3. Anthropologie

Anthro’s our favorite place to score the best sale goodies all year round, so we expect something great come Labor Day. Last year’s deals saw 20 percent off select furniture, décor and bedding plus an extra 50 percent off sale items. If you’re waiting for the perfect time to score that velvet arm chair you’ve been eyeing, Labor Day could be it.

4. Bed Bath & Beyond

We’d bet money that not only will Bed Bath & Beyond hold a Labor Day sale this year, but it’ll include up to 50 percent off small kitchen appliances, furniture and bedding, just like it did last year.

5. Burrow

If you really want to save on a new couch, we’d suggest you hold out for Burrow’s sure-to-be-epic Labor Day Sale. Last year, the retailer slashed prices by up to 80 percent off—yes, eighty. The discounts were as follows: An extra $50 off orders of $500 or more; $150 off $1,100+; $250 off $1,500+; $350 off $1,800+; $450 off $2,100+; $600 off $2,600+. We’re keeping all our fingers (and toes) crossed for similar price reductions this Labor Day.

6. Home Depot

Since we unfortunately don’t have psychic powers, it’s just too early to know exactly what’s going to be on sale at Home Depot. However, we can—with full clarity—confirm that last year’s deals were epic and included a five-burner gas grill for just $169. Yep, we still regret not buying it.

7. Jayson Home

If you wait until September to shop at Jayson Home, you might be able to score an extra 20 percent off closeout furniture, like they offered last year.

8. Lulu and Georgia

Last Labor Day, Lulu and Georgia offered up to 25 percent off everything all weekend long. We’re praying that they stick to those generous discounts this year, because we could really use a new set of dining chairs.

9. Macy's

Oh, Macy’s. What did we do to get so lucky with your sales? True, we don’t know what the exact deals will be, come the holiday weekend, but if they’re anything like last year’s, we can expect 25 to 50 percent off across the site and an additional 10 to 20 percent off with a code.

10. Society6

If you’ve never shopped Society6, Labor Day is an ideal time to start. The brand, which features furniture in an array of designs from independent artists, discounted nearly everything on site by 20 to 40 percent off last year, so we have high hopes for the same this September.

11. Urban Outfitters

Every year, Urban Outfitters’s end of summer sale gets better and better. In 2018, the retailer slashed red-line sale items by an additional 30 percent and in 2019, that additional discount was bumped up to 40 percent. Could this year top out at an epic 50 percent discount? Only time will tell.

12. West Elm

Every Labor Day, West Elm holds its annual “Buy More, Save More” sale. Last year, that meant you got 15 percent off $100 or more, 20 percent off when you spend $500 or more, 25 percent when you spend $1,000 or more, and 30 percent off when you spend $3,500 or more. It’s a pretty safe bet that the same will hold true this time around.
