And since season four isn’t expected to premiere until next year, there’s no harm in staying up to date with the cast, who are currently filming the new episodes in Canada. • On Wednesday, producers confirmed that filming for Virgin River season four is officially underway by sharing a teaser video. The sneak peek features Alexandra Breckenridge (who portrays Mel) standing on set of the popular series and saying, “Hey, everybody out there in the internet land. We’re out here doing season four of Virgin River.” The rest of the gang can be heard cheering in the background.
• Breckenridge recently penned a heartfelt message on Instagram to express her gratitude. “Some mornings I have to step back and remind myself how lucky I am for this life that I live,” she wrote. “It’s not been as [rose emoji] as it looks from the outside world. But today is what you choose to make of it. And today I’m grateful for all that I have and all that I am.”

• Colin Lawrence (who plays John “Preacher” Middleton) offered a rare glimpse into his life as an actor by sharing pics from an old headshot photoshoot. The caption read, “Time for a photo dump. #photodump #fbf #photoshoot.”
