Adele’s Net Worth Is Going to Make Your Jaw Drop

With 15 Grammy Awards and over 100 million record sales to her name, it's safe to say that Adele's net worth is thriving.

The famed British artist first came on the scene with her debut album, 19, which gave us hits like "Chasing Pavements" and "Cold Shoulder." Then, she followed up with her record-breaking album, 21. In 2021, the singer gifted fans with new music and a tell-all interview. Adele received nominations for multiple 2023 Grammy Awards, but how did she earn her fortune? Here’s everything we know.

Adele Shows Her Goofy Side with Bloopers from ‘Easy on Me’ Music Video: ‘It's All Smoke and Mirrors’

1. What Is Adele’s Net Worth?

According to Forbes, Adele's net worth was $69 million back in 2017, making her one of the highest-paid women in music, but that number has since doubled. Now, the “Easy on Me” singer is worth a cool $220 million, per Celebrity Net Worth.

2. How Much Did Adele Earn from Her First Album?

Thanks to a simple demo on Myspace that went viral, Adele signed her first record deal at age 17 and released her first album, 19, in 2008. The album not only sold 6.5 million copies worldwide, but it also earned the singer four Grammy nominations, including Best New Artist and Record of the Year. Cha Ching!

3. How Much Did She Make From 21?

Inspired by her troubled personal relationship, the 2011 album sold over 31 million copies worldwide, making it the best-selling album of the 21st century (!). It dominated multiple charts in more than 30 countries and was named the world's best-selling album for two years in a row. And not surprisingly, 21 earned Adele seven Grammys, including Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, Record of the Year and Song of the Year for "Rolling in the Deep." Sounds like the singer was also rolling in a whole lot of dough...

4. What About Her Other Albums?

After 21 came 25, which includes her memorable ballad, “Hello.” After its release in 2015, 25 became a huge commercial success, selling over 22 million copies worldwide and getting crowned the world's best-selling album of the year.

After her six-year hiatus, Adele released 30, which was the top-selling album of 2021. Not only did it break the Apple Music record for the most pre-added album ever, but it also sold 500,000 copies within just three days of its release. Yep, Adele’s bank account is definitely happy.

5. And Her Live Concert Tours?

According to Forbes, the singer has previously turned down endorsement deals because she gets plenty of income from her live shows.

Her very first tour, “An Evening with Adele,” earned a total of $775,187—but that number has increased dramatically since her second album’s release. For “Adele Live” in 2011, her North American shows grossed $2 million, and in 2016, her tour for 25 made her the sixth highest-grossing worldwide act of the year, earning a staggering $252 million in ticket and merch sales.

6. How Much Is Adele Making Through Her Las Vegas Residency?

In 2021, the singer announced that she was heading to Las Vegas for a four-month-long residency, called Weekends with Adele, at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The highest-grossing residencies range from $70 million to $385 million, and with Adele’s phenomenal track record, it’s very likely that her earnings are on the higher end of that range. The residency will run through March 25, 2023.

7. Is Adele nominated for the Grammys?

Adele received seven—we repeat, seven—2023 Grammy Award nominations. This included Album of the Year (30), Best Pop Vocal Album (30), Record of the Year (“Easy on Me”), Song of the Year (“Easy on Me”), Best Pop Solo Performance (“Easy on Me”), Best Music Video (“Easy on Me”) and Best Music Film (Adele One Night Only). The 65th annual ceremony will take place on February 5.

Keep thriving, Adele.
