If you’ve been down the astrology TikTok rabbithole, watching video after video alluding to a paradigm shift, this week is what they were talking about. Yes, this week is the big one.

First, on the 17th, we have a solar eclipse in the final degrees of Aquarius. A solar eclipse is an extra-potent new moon that brings sudden beginnings and endings. Also on the 17th, Venus meets up with the North Node in Pisces, a heart-swelling transit that happens once per year. With the love planet in amorous Pisces, the declarations of desire are taken to a new level this time.

We dive fully into deep, compassionate waters on the 18th, when the sun enters Pisces. Happy birthday to our mutable water babes!

That’s all before we get to the 20th. Saturn—the planet of discipline, structure and maturity—and Neptune—the planet of idealism, illusion and blurry boundaries—meet in the sky for the first time in 37 years. This is the first time the planets are forming a conjunction since 1989.This aspect correlates to dissolving borders and tearing down walls, which happened quite literally in 1989. Saturn-Neptune aspects amp up collective idealism as well as collective delusions. It’s a time of conspiracies and disillusionment, when exhaustion and burnout are at an extreme.

You might be reading this and thinking, it feels like we’ve been in that era for a long time already. And the truth is, we have. Saturn and Neptune have been slowly forming this aspect since 2023, and now we’re at the peak. As the planet of structure and the planet of idealism come together in the first degree of Aries, the very beginning of the zodiac, we’re living through the birth of a new era. No pressure.

Aries (March 21 - April 19)

How are you showing up in your community? Sure, you’re participating, but are you willing to take the lead? Pay attention to any new people or opportunities that are coming into your life or any offerings that are suddenly taken away. You’re entering a new era of personal responsibility, and part of that is setting an example for others.

Taurus (April 20 - May 20)
