Last week, we learned that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are saying goodbye to their royal roles for good. On Friday, Buckingham Palace announced the “saddening” news that the couple will not be returning as working members of the royal family. “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have confirmed to Her Majesty The Queen that they will not be returning as working members of The Royal Family,” BP wrote in a statement.
- The same day, it was also revealed that because of this, the duke and duchess will be stripped of their royal titles relating to their trusts and patronages. In fact, Harry will even have to relinquish all of his military titles including Captain-General Royal Marines, Honorary Air Commandant, RAF Honington and Commodore-in-Chief, Small Ships and Diving, Royal Naval Command. And that’s just the start.
- Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary recently shared rare footage on their official Instagram account of their family participating in some winter activities. The slideshow features not one, but two videos of their four children—Prince Christian (15), Princess Isabella (13) and 10-year-old twins Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine—playing ice hockey on a frozen lake.

On Sunday, Genesis Women’s Shelter & Support in Dallas revealed on social media that they received a surprise donation from the couple. According to the Twitter post, the ex-royal couple stepped in to help during the organization’s time of need and offered to replace the “roof at our transitional housing facility & helping us meet our immediate needs.”
- On Monday, Prince William paid a visit to a vaccination center at the King’s Lynn Corn Exchange. During the visit, William met with individuals receiving the vaccine and even sat down to speak with the National Health Service staff and volunteers about their experience battling against COVID-19 in the last year.

- On Tuesday, we learned that Queen Elizabeth, along with other members of the fam, will be featured in a BBC special on the very same day as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s groundbreaking interview with Oprah Winfrey. The BBC One event, titled A Celebration for Commonwealth Day, was created in place of the annual CD service (which was canceled due to COVID-19) and will also include a pre-recorded message from Her Majesty.
- On Thursday, television host James Corden finally dropped Harry’s appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden. During the clip, the 35-year-old opened up to Corden about his early relationship with his wife, fatherhood and even his thoughts on The Crown.
