Princess Eugenie Reveals Her Baby's Name & Shares 3 New Pics of the Newborn

After a week of royal anticipation, Princess Eugenie has finally revealed the name of her newborn son. And she did it in an Instagram post along with three never-before-seen pics of the baby.

On Saturday, the 30-year-old new mother shared a slideshow on Instagram featuring herself, her husband, Jack Brooksbank, and her son: August Philip Hawke Brooksbank.

The caption to the post reads, "We wanted to introduce you to August Philip Hawke Brooksbank," followed by three blue heart emojis.

It continues, "Thank you for so many wonderful messages. Our hearts are full of love for this little human, words can't express. We are excited to be able to share these photos with you.⁣"

Eugenie and Brooksbank then gave photo credit to "our wonderful midwife" and went on to thank essential workers for all that they do.

ICYMI, on Monday, February 8, the royal family announced that the princess gave birth to a healthy baby boy. Since then, the internet has been abuzz regarding the baby's name. In fact, one royal theory was that the couple would give the baby a very unique middle name—Stamp—which been passed down in Brooksbank’s family for generations.

While the Duchess of York's daughter didn't opt for Stamp, we do love that she paid tribute to her grandfather Prince Philip with the middle name.

It's also important to note that August most likely won’t receive an official title. While the baby’s mother has HRH (Her Royal Highness) status, the baby boy will not necessarily receive the status or a title, despite being 11th in line to the throne. This is because titles are inherited from the father’s side and Brooksbank does not have a title to pass down.

Keep the pictures coming, Eugenie (you know we'll be refreshing our Instagram feed in the meantime)!
