Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Princess Eugenie

Princess Eugenie has made plenty of headlines with her fabulous wedding and the birth of her first child, but there's more to this royal than meets the eye.

Born to Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, Princess Eugenie is the sixth grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. She attended Coworth Park School, St. George's School and Marlborough College before studying English literature and art history at Newcastle University. After graduating with a degree in 2012, she moved to New York to work at an auction firm called Paddle8, then returned to London in 2015 to work as an associate director at the Hauser & Wirth art gallery (where she now serves as director).

Aside from her studies, her royal highness has been quite vocal about her experiences with scoliosis. In fact, she has been actively involved in charities that cater to those with similar conditions, serving as patron of the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and the Scoliosis Association UK. Plus, Eugenie is a huge anti-slavery advocate, having co-founded the Anti-Slavery Collective. In January 2018, Eugenie got engaged to her boyfriend of seven years, Jack Brooksbank. The brand ambassador and bar manager popped the question during their vacation in Nicaragua, and in October 2018, the couple got married at St. George's Chapel. (You might recall her iconic wedding dress, designed to display her surgical scar from childhood.)

In February 2021, the happy couple welcomed their first child, August Philip. But one look at her Instagram page will tell you that her parenting duties haven't stopped her from being involved in the charity scene. The royal is still raising awareness about modern slavery through her podcast, Floodlight, and she's a proud ambassador of the Blue Marine Foundation.
