There’s a ‘Selling Sunset’ Spinoff in the Works—Here’s What We Know

Fans of Selling Sunset have more to look forward to than just season four. The series landed a spinoff at Netflix and it’s coming in 2022.

The streaming platform officially announced the Orange Country spinoff, called Selling the OC, in a statement on Monday. While there is still no set release date, filming is reportedly already underway.

Per Variety, the upcoming series will follow Jason Oppenheim as he opens a second office in Newport Beach. While we don’t know if the original cast—Chrishell Stause and Heather Rae Young, to name a few—will be making an appearance in the installment, the new cast will include Oppenheim, Alexandra Hall, Austin Victoria and Brandi Marshall.

The spinoff news comes less than a month before season four of the original hits Netflix. If you’re unfamiliar, Selling Sunset first premiered back in 2019 and follows a group of realtors who work at The Oppenheim Group, a luxury real estate brokerage in Los Angeles. Season three debuted on August 7, 2020 while season two dropped just a few months earlier, in May 2020.

Several O.G. cast members are returning for the fourth installment, including Stause and Young, Brett Oppenheim, Christine Quinn, Mary Fitzgerald, Romain Bonnet, Amanza Smith, Maya Vander and Davina Potratz. Newcomers Vanessa Villela and Emma Hernan are also joining the agents.
